The main types of welding equipment include electric welders, flame welding equipment, and other welding equipment. Electric welders are the most common, and they include the following types:
(1) Arc welders, which are further divided into manual arc welders (arc welding transformers, arc welding rectifiers, and arc welding generators), submerged arc welders, and gas-shielded arc welders (non-consumable electrode gas-shielded welding machines and consumable electrode gas-shielded welding machines).
(2) Resistance welders, which are divided into spot welders, projection welders, seam welders, and butt welders.
(3) Other electric welders, such as electroslag welders, plasma arc welders, high-frequency welders, electron beam welders, laser beam welders, ultrasonic welders, friction welders, cold pressure welders, and brazing machines.
